Had lots of wind 49Knots true seen. In big winds good speed. Often in lulls 25 knots lucky to get 1 knot and most of that sideways. No let up for us at these speeds as unable to get out of this depression. Trysail has 3 attachments departed tye sail. One of the extra stiffeners for solar panell rig not where it should be. Being and feeling wet all the time does not help. Had some very hard rain down pours to add to all this. Bilges still require mopping out regularly. Some may say this is all character building, but may I suggest I do not require any more.
Last night we did have baguettes and cheese with main meal. This evening no plan as when John finishes sleep may go a little adventurous to get more boat speed in the lulls and see if we can handle it in the gusts. Will not be easy to set up.
Unlikely to be in Las Palmas until sometime on 5th November earliest later if we do not find some speed to move south soon.
