Day 4 - Windier Wetter and sea getting bigger

Last 24 hours been very wet with fine rain and seas breaking over the decks. Wind has also got up regularly seeing 30+ knots. Today have rigged the trysail in anticipation of requiring it. Presently track on trysail track and sail lashed to the kicker. During some gusts we are letting the main not drive at all with its 3 reefs in. Earlier we missed a shift to get west, may not get another and have to acept some northerly in it.
This morning noticed all items needing charging, computer, iridium go! and tablets not happening.Problem appears to be with master socket so now using alternate source.
Inside boat is very wet, some new leaks and hatch drips when waves come over due to design, will need to think of solution for next leg.
Dinner will be beef caserole, cheese, then tinned fruit madarins. No bread cooking due motion.
