Savu Savu, Fiji

We have officially sailed half way around the world crossing 180degrees west in the early hours of this morning and arriving in Fiji.
We’ve clocked 12,760nm so far since we left Falmouth in November and we have about 2000nm left to go.
We’ve sailed into Suvasuva on the island of Vanua Levu. We took it fairly steady so as to arrive in the light this morning. It was an easy navigation in past a well marked reef (for once) and up into a well protected creek where there are 4 marinas. From what I can see, it’s all mooring buoys with facilities ashore.
We are just waiting for the officials to visit the boat and clear us in. It’s fairly mountainous and very green, a little like Tahiti on first impressions.
We’re both pretty tired and have felt pretty groggy for most of the passage so we’re looking forward to slowing down again and spending a month here.
