> After a productive few days in Papette getting the boat sorted we’re back in Moorea. The job list included autohelm drive unit, 24v alternator, fuel filters and a hull scrub. Good to have everything working again

> Was another light passage over with engine augmenting sails fairly regularly. Nice fly by by a couple of Humpbacks. They didn’t hang around but it’s always magical to see them.

> Katie has been chomping at the bit to do some running. A ‘quick’ evening trail run turned out to be an hr and 40 really tough affair. Wild amazing trail and scenery, literally climbing up through tree roots on near vertical terrain at times.
> Then yesterday we attempted to climb the hill (mountain) above the anchorage. An absolutely stunning knife edge ridge lead straight up that was equally as steep and technical as the previous day. The cleg and then rain DW ace and turned steep muddy slopes and gully’s into lethal mud slides above a 1000’ drop. We beat a hasty retreat. It’s been in wall to wall sunshine today without a cloud in the sky!!
> Katie’s pump foiling is getting better though so is just about giving her the opportunity to work out her legs. I’ve managed to get to about 45 seconds but this leaves me collapsed in the water with legs cramped full of lactate. Definitely good exercise!

> We’re off tomorrow. Either Bora Bora or Raiatia. About 140 miles away so another 24hrs but looks like we should have a nice 15knots behind us.
