A lovely 5 days catching up with Paul & Jan in Mykonos.

We explored Ornos Bay, walking around the coastline and stopping for much needed refreshments on the way.

At one end of the bay we were turned away from an exclusive hotel complex however, we were welcomed into the next and enjoyed cold beer served in an ice bucket with frosted glasses whilst we looked over the bay to Blue Magic.

A beautiful setting, very pleasant staff and lovely rooms with private pools and balconies.

Of course, the prices reflected the surroundings, 40 Euros for 4 beers and 650 Euros for a room should we wish to stay the night, mm let me think about that one !

We enjoyed sunset drinks in Mykonos town and sampled fresh fish and homemade pasta.

Looks like Paul’s had a bit too much sun ! 

Shopping was an experience with the local pelican following us down the streets and into the shops !

 Paul and Jan were the first to stay in the new block at their hotel and so we had the new pool to ourselves, very luxurious.

And finally, the wind calmed and Jan actually asked if she could visit ‘Blue Magic’ !

We took the dinghy back to the boat had a nice afternoon chilling on board with a glass of wine, a perfect end to their holiday.
