Monday 22^nd October Ras Sudr

Finally we left the canal behind and began sailing the next leg of our journey, 200 miles South through the Gulf of Suez.

We are day sailing from anchorage to anchorage although we are not allowed ashore, presumably for security reasons as much of this coastline has military bases.

First stop just 20 miles on the East side, Ras Sudr.

We were looking forward to swimming again, however the water was quite murky here and there were a few little stingers in the water.
