We didn’t find the lost dinghy !

We are now on route to Tonga, having left at 4.00am yesterday morning, we are due to arrive around lunchtime, yet again ahead of schedule as our calculated ETA was 4pm.

The sailing is fantastic again, we are roaring along with just the twistle rig up, doing between 6.5 and 9 knots. The seas are more moderate this trip making it more comfortable and Sandie has been feeling good – hurray !

Although it has not all been good for Sandie because we crossed the date line today, which meant that we only saw one hour of the 23^rd June then our clocks went forward to the 24^th June, and, you will never believe it, but the 23^rd was Sandie’s birthday !

Not to worry, we have allocated Saturday as her stand in birthday when we will be ashore to celebrate in true style.
