We have had fun and games this morning…...

There are four rally boats at anchor and we all went ashore for some provisions and for some to check in and out at customs.

We bought some ice cream and so we headed straight back to the boat to put it in the freezer whilst the others had a coffee and used the local internet café.

Whilst I unpacked the shopping Mark noticed that one of the boats, ‘Scott Free’, was missing, he then spotted it drifting out to sea !

We both jumped in the dinghy in hot pursuit and quickly boarded the yacht, there were no keys to start the engine so we furled out the genoa and pulled up the trailing anchor. It was proving quite difficult to head back as there was an offshore breeze, so Mark tied the dingy along side with the motor on whilst I steered the yacht.

We bought her back into the anchorage and anchored just before Debbie & Ilene arrived back on the pier wondering why the boat wasn’t in the same place !

Earlier that morning Mark was asking on the radio if anyone had a spare weight belt for diving and Debbie kindly offered one to him –  I think we have now repaid her favour.

Just one of the benefits of being part of a rally !
