Thursday we joined all the crew from Miss Tippy for a ‘tour of the caves’.

We left the marina at 3.30pm and walked up to the top of the rock to meet our guide at 5pm.

Little did we know that the tour was a personal guide of the lower caves, deep inside the rock of Gibraltar, which saw us abseiling, climbing, sliding on our bottoms and scrambling through tight spaces.

Oh, not to mention balancing on tight ledges as we skirted around an underground lake.

It was an adventure straight out of Indiana Jones and we emerged three and a half hours completely amazed by the sights of all the different rock formations, it was very dark for our walk home and we were very hungry and tired !

Two days later and the aching muscles are still reminding me of our adventure but what a fantastic experience !
