Happy Easter !

Whilst you are enjoying some lovely spring weather, daffodils, spring lamb, new potatoes and Easter egg hunts, we are celebrating Easter in sunny Salalah.

To our great delight we found a big chocolate egg hidden in a corner at Lu Lu’s supermarket so lots of chocolate today.

Mark suggested our own Easter egg hunt – he will hide the egg and I have to find it – mmm think there might be a catch there !

This morning I have been cleaning the chrome work on the deck whilst Mark has had a bit of a lie in, reading his book.

Over the last couple of weeks I have also been spring cleaning the cupboards which included relegating several of Mark’s T shirts for cleaning cloths.

This morning I was cutting up one of these T shirts in the course of my polishing when Mark appeared, looking very puzzled, having grabbed the nearest item of clothing he could find !

Currently sitting at the chart table I thought someone was taking the hose pipe over our boat as I can see water pouring down the window.

I have just stuck my head out of the air conditioned cabin to see that it is raining !

It is very, very weird – we haven’t seen rain for several months.

Fantastic – the boat needs a good wash off as it is very dusty and sandy here.
