Position 38:38.228N 00:04.24E Saturday 22nd August 2009 The staff are shaping up pretty well, no sea sickness,
fishing rods assembled and under test, not to mention the sail trimming taken
care of ! We had a good trip of around 55 miles, sun & sailing
with calm seas, a long way for the first day but they have all enjoyed it. A swim in the anchorage was cut a bit short after spotting
jelly fish, so after showers off the stern and a few bottles of beer we motored
on into the marina. The action didn’t stop there …. a mooring rope
caught around the prop and we had to send down our divers (Mark & Rob) to untangle
things before hitting the town to sample the local fish and wine. We rounded off the evening with a ‘digestif’ of
chilled pink port from our previous travels to |
