We are still in Gibraltar and we have been very industrious, working through our list of ‘jobs’

Yesterday we had a diver clean our bottom as the change in water temperature had caused a build up of debris. We are assured that this will reactivate the copper bottom and it will then stay clean.

The diver also cleaned our beautiful propeller …..

Mark is optimistic that the new sleek bottom will increase our speed by at least 2 knots which could amount to a couple of days less on the Atlantic trip.

Today we were up early to polish one side of the hull from the dinghy, before it got too hot. We will do the other side tomorrow.

Now we are off to the chandlers for some wheels to perfect Mark’s boarding ladder.

We have also sorted out our 12 passport photos for our visas around the world and I have given Mark another haircut!

There is absolutely no trace of Steve’s professional style left now!

Bob & Mandy from ‘Rowanda’ are on their way to Gibraltar so we will probably wait to say hello and then move into the Med on Monday.
