Phang Nga Bay

We left the marina this morning to head for an anchorage in
the beautiful Phang Nga bay. There is a big ‘Hong’ to explore by dinghy which
is an enclosed pool that you get to through a long tunnel and it is surrounded by
a large chimney of rock face opening to the sky. We are looking forward to some
swimming too. Charlie should be with us but the snow has disrupted flights
and he has spent one night at Heathrow and one night at home waiting for some better
news. He is heading back to Heathrow this morning and hoping to
get on a flight today. Katie is missing him, they were both working so hard in the
lead up to Christmas that they hardly saw each other and so they were looking
forward to some relaxing in the sun on Blue Magic. Talking of sun – there has not been much of that since
Katie arrived but at least it is not raining today and it is warm and the
scenery is spectacular. |
