Friday 7^th August

We are still on holiday with Paul & Jan and enjoying Estepona.

It is lovely to saunter over to their house from the boat for swims and barbeques.

We have wandered along the promenade into the town with it’s beautiful squares and eaten local Paella and spanish tapas on side of the road.

Mark has taken Katie’s position as official ice cream taster, note the size of the ice cream he bought for himself and the size he bought for the rest of us !

Estepona is a busy little fishing port with commercial boats unloading each night for local businesses to purchase at the shoreside auction house.

The local restaurant and hotel vans along with Carrefour roll up to wait for the days catch.

The local fishing boats bring back sardines, anchovies and lots of fish, that we haven’t identified, that are de headed, gutted and hung by the tails in the sun to dry.

We sampled Carrefour’s sea bass for dinner on Blue Magic with Paul & Jan.

Steamed in foil in the oven with ginger, garlic, spring onions, lime and soy sauce mmmm !
