The Bali Hyatt (or ‘my Bali’ as Amalia calls it) was a large hotel with beautiful grounds, overlooking the beach with views out across the coral reef to the adjacent island.

Most days we took a taxi from the marina and joined Adam & Kirsty & Amalia & Riley at the hotel to play in the pool or on the beach or just chill in their air conditioned rooms !

The Hotel is situated in the heart of Sanur and we enjoyed strolling through the hotel gardens and into the town for lunch and dinner.

There was also a little beach front path that meandered along the back of the hotel with a few restaurants and the massage spa which we all enjoyed a couple of times – not to be missed with two ladies massaging Frangipagi oil over your whole body for a an hour at a cost of just under £7 !
