Yesterday we met our yacht agent, smiley Mohamid, who took us into town to renew our visas for Oman.

It took us several hours and included a visit to an inspector at the police station – but they still let us renew  !

Can you believe it has been a whole month since we visited the UK ?

The shipping date we have been given is currently 7-8^th May, when the ship will arrive in Salalah and then it will be a day at least to load the yachts.

It will have to be a finely tuned operation as there are currently 11 yachts here with only one crew member on board since a lot of crew have gone home and don’t plan to return to help with loading.

Of course there are a few yachts with young families who couldn’t stay here – it is no place for children. It has been difficult for them, their families have been torn apart whilst we sit and wait for the yachts to be transported to the Med.
