Razor Clams !

Position 42:35.997N 08:46.201W We have decided that the mystery seafood dish is razor clams
and they seem to be a delicacy of the Galacia region in Mark went to the office to settle our mooring fees last
night and we had to produce the original ships papers and both our passports. The lady in the office obviously had a sense of humour because
when Mark said it was a bit over the top since we are in the EU, she replied “ Yes, but only when you want to be” ! We left at 7.30am and as we sailed out of the Ria de Muro a
huge rainbow appeared from one edge of the harbour to the other and we sailed right
under it and out to sea, spectacular.
The photos don’t give it justice ! We had a good sail down the coast and into the Ria de
Arosa. This Ria is beautiful and we took lots of photos as we

There are lots of islands within the Ria, the largest being
Isla de Arosa, which is joined to the mainland via a bridge. There are a couple
of anchorages off the island where we plan to stay tomorrow night as they look
lovely.
Bridge to Isla Arosa Viveros There are lots and lots of viveros
anchored across the entrance to the island, which are floating mussel rafts, so
it will be interesting finding a path between them!
This is the narrow entrance to the marina, on the starboard
side of the harbour wall as you enter is a half sunk ship. The marina staff here are very helpful and accommodating. |
