After a promising wind when we left Sotogrande this morning, it promptly died to nothing and we motored the few miles to Estepona.

Only two days in the med and the wind is behaving as predicted – either blowing a hoolee or nothing at all !

We are anchored off the beach at Estepona, which is very pretty and the adjacent marina has some lovely restaurants along the quayside.

What a lovely place for getting together with Paul & Jan & Emma & Hannah in a few of weeks time. Paul, there is even a Thai restaurant!

The water is still cold (21.5 C) and, despite no tides in the med, the current is quite strong. I enjoyed an exhilarating swim, as I stepped onto the boat ladder they slipped down and threw me off into the cold water.

Mark opted for filling the hot tub with salt water and splashing around like a duck in a pond on a hot day, or, with his little legs, maybe a sparrow in a birdbath – anyway you get the picture – bless!
