Blue Water Rally have given us some contact details of a retired French naval officer, Xavier, who lives on the island and he is planning to come and meet us in his friend’s boat to guide us in.

Xavier has also offered to give us a tour of the pearl farms where we can purchase black pearls.

Apparently there are lots of different coloured hues to the pearls, you can find green, blue, cherry and gold ones – so us girls are looking forward to that and the guys are worrying about how expensive they are !
