Day 2
Blue Magic

Sat 24 Apr 2010 10:58
Position 11:49.61S 143:96.67W A restless day and night with squalls and rain and too much
wind followed by patches of no wind, confused, rolly seas dying down to
moderate seas. However we have the twistle up now and we are jogging along
nicely through the starry, moonlit night. The ETA is crucial to time slack water at the pass –
but it is impossible to calculate with such big changes in the wind and in our
speed. Tonight it is looking on schedule with 1.5 days to go. Jackamy are sailing with us – well ahead of us since
Paul has all his sails out and is flying along. |
