We said good bye to Lynn & Kevin yesterday morning, after a nice week of catching up together, now it is Monday morning and we begin a week of preparations ready for our Atlantic trip.

Today I am busy washing bedding and paying our bills followed by a supermarket run with Sheila and Sue this afternoon in our hire car.

This week we will be getting out our charts ready to plan the next leg of our trip and we have the Atlantic briefing on Wednesday morning with rally control.

Adam & Malcolm are joining us on Thursday ready for departure on Saturday morning.

It is blowing a gale here at present but we are assured the forecast is good with moderate winds for later in the week.

On Wednesday evening Mark Waterhouse from Discovery Yachts is flying out to take us and the crew of ‘Roundabout’ out for a departure dinner prior to our big trip and we are really looking forward to that treat !
