Wednesday 8th December A lovely anchorage at Koh Rok where we spent a couple of

Magic’s, the Tippy’s and the Jackamy’s Thursday 9th December A couple of hours of motoring saw us arriving at Koh Muk and
anchoring in front of dramatic limestone rocks rising straight up out of the
sea and towering above us. We were rolled around a bit during the night from the waves
deflecting off the rocks. Friday 10th December In the morning we took the dinghy to the ‘ The entrance to the cave is a very small pitch black passage
way around 80 metres long leading to a completely enclosed, cathedral like
‘Hong’ (a cave open to the sky) with amazing high walls draped in
lush green foliage and a small sand beach. It is rumoured that pirates used the cave to hide their
treasure – it was awesome ! This afternoon we motored a few miles across to Koh Ngai and
we are anchored off a beautiful, long sandy beach with a few resorts scattered
along the beach front. We are only a day sail from Phuket now and we can’t
wait to take Charlie and Katie to some of these beautiful islands. We are also looking forward to sampling some of the Thai
food ashore – as yet there hasn’t been any ATM’s on the tiny
islands so we have no Thai currency for the local restaurants, besides it will
be nice to share that with our visitors too ! Photos soon …. |
