Wow – a great day, lots of lovely presents to open, cake and candles in the afternoon followed by a wonderful barbeque party at the Angermeyer Point hotel in the evening.

Katie is treating me to a full body makeover when she joins us in Fiji – facial, massage, pedicure, manicure – the lot !

Think I might need it by then !

Adam & Kirsty and Amalia & Riley held a birthday party for me at home and videoed the whole event for us to download and watch over and over.

Party balloons and party tablecloth, a big cake, that the children devoured after blowing out the candles, pass the parcel and dancing !

Alison and Ashley spoilt me with an electronic book so that I have lots of new books to read on one little device – how good is that ?

Alison also chose a beautiful dress that fitted perfectly for the party, worn with new beads, earings and bracelet from the ‘Tippy’s.

Jackamy bought over balloons and a surprise present – my own ‘special diver’s torch’ !

I had been admiring Paul’s ‘Special Diver’s torch’ for some time and so they arranged for one to be transported out from the UK.

Mark did a fantastic job of arranging a surprise party and inviting all the other rally boats so that Derry and I could celebrate our 50’ths in style !

It is Derry’s birthday on the 27 March, whilst we are at sea,

 so we shared our birthday celebrations together.

Mark arranged an open air barbeque at a lovely hotel that

overlooks the bay.

A big thank you to Amy too – recruited by Mark to help

with arrangements !

Derry and I had so many cards and lovely presents from the

Galapagos Isles.

The ‘Tippy’s cast their usual magic by presenting us each with

huge cards that they had made, filled with messages from

everyone in the rally.

A slight lack of party photos as Mark was in charge of the

Camera for the evening !

Lovely presents – Galapagos cards, jewellery and t shirt, my divers torch and party dress and necklace.

Mark, and also Bev & Martin, gave me lots of beautiful new beads for my birthday, so I can play ‘jewellery’

whilst sailing across the Pacific !
