We toured the island today on scooters with Paul & Derry
– great fun, although Mark is not sure how this will effect his street
cred with the bike boys !

Until 1863 slaves were used to run the salt industry and the restored slave houses can be seen all along the salt pans. You can also see the salt mountains. There are large obelisks along the coast which were used to

Tomorrow we are leaving for Porvenir We have pre cooked our meals for four days, made two Dinners and so did I, so we are ready for a bumpy ride and looking forward to arriving in San Blas. |
