Well we are still in Kupang and not only have customs refused to give us clearance into Indonesia but they have demanded that all 20 rally boats leave today or they will impound our boats tomorrow.

So we are departing around 5am tomorrow morning before first light.

The whole rally had an extensive and anxious meeting tonight with Richard from Blue Water Rallies and most of our questions have remained unanswered.

We certainly are not cleared by customs and so we are technically here illegally which is why we must leave.

It is uncertain whether the situation can be resolved in Bali but that is where there is an agent that may be able to help us (for a substantial charge).

Without going into too much detail we are planning to get to Bali where we have Adam and Kirsty coming to meet us with the grandchildren. We are trying to remain optimistic and hope we can stay in Bali as planned.
