27th April 2016
No visit to these parts can be complete without including a glacier experience or two! We were lucky enough to be able to walk up the Frans Joseph glacier valley. So here is a round up of the best of this valley.
For the Fox glacier, the only way you can get up close and personal is to go by helicopter, so with a good deal of hesitation on my part, we went for it. of course I am glad we did it was a great experience. more to come in the next blog.
