Dear Family and Friends,

Its still horrid out here!

We have now had winds of 25-30 knots for the last 36 hours, possibly more we have lost the sense of time other than night and day, and acquired an exhausting perpetual rolling and slamming. Gusts this morning have reached 40+ knots, despite our downwind massive detour NW to avoid the eye of low pressure off the Colombian coast. Alan is again hand steering when the 6-8m wave look like broadsiding us or catching us from behind. Apparently this part of the Caribbean has a reputation in the same way as the Bay of Biscay does, and it is certainly not disappointing.

Otherwise its a lovely sunny day again!

Being below is challenging, eating cereal a recipe for disaster, we are living off biscuits and dried fruit during the day.

Short message today, need to get the all important weather files.

All our best,

Lynne and Alan
