Dear Family and Friends,

Another late start following the exertions on passage. Much nicer day, walked around town some more, stopped for long leisurely lunch. This included excellent local white wine which had to be slept off afterwards, and plates of local cheeses, bread and razor clams. Met lovely English man who spoke native Spanish and helped us with the translations in the restaurant, so nice of him! Razor clams were an adventure for all of us: rubbery & fishy was the verdict, not unpleasant but could think of other seafood I would have before these dish!

We walked off lunch with a walk around  the headland that protects Bayona from the sea, lovely sea views so unlike yesterday when we came in as we could see very little in the mist.

Attached are a few photos, including fireworks from last night, fantastic display!

All our best Alan and Lynne
