In Turkey, in most places, in order to moor your boat, you need to put the anchor in the front and 2 lines ashore from behind. This means you need to find the right rocks to put the lines on and to have the right ropes to pull to the rocks. In order to secure the boat you need to have the anchor down and at a minimum 1 line ashore (and then you have time to put the 2nd line ashore). In just two persons, this exercice is quite time consuming and nerve wrecking - believe me Roberto and I have done it and this is not my favourite part of sailing !!! Yet in 4 persons, and with training, it becomes ALMOST like a routine. Jean-Luc, Ingrid, Roberto and I are now becoming expert at it and Roberto was even amazed when on day with Jean-Luc we said we were OK to do this for lunch and for dinner - hence twice in the same day :)

Jean-Luc said next time we do it he wants to be timed so we can be in the record book :::)))
