Before moving on to another of the hundreds of Croatian Islands, we motored (unfortunately - so little wind) along the north coast of Korcula Island to anchor in a very beautiful and protected bay, “Uvala Gradina" - as it it almost closed by a small islet, O. Gubesa. We had just anchored that we were approached by the the “bay master” to pay for the moorings and a couple of hours later, by the police who came to check that we had paid the moorings - we had to show our receipt. Later again by a boat from one of the surrounding restaurants who gave us its menu and mentioned that they could do “boat delivery”, yet for once we did not pick on this opportunity as we had planned to grill meat on Knotty Girl - so we were all set !! In summary we spent time ensuring none of these boats damaged our beautiful Knotty Girl :) but they were all very careful of course !
