We did it ! We were able to sail from Corfou to Zakynthos in July and survived the crowd as we were almost always able to avoid the big crowds/flotillas thanks to the places selected by Roberto!

My brother - who experienced cruising with us for the first time and Antonella and Eva were able to enjoy:

Sunny weather every day
Getting a glimpse of the various Ionian Islands, namely: Corfou, Paxos, (Preveza), Lefkada, Ithaka, Cefalonia and Zakynthos
Swimming in magnificent and warm seas
A couple of days gentle sailing - no storms
Being moored literally in front of the restaurant we went to eat in that very evening (which mean we did not have to pay the mooring - this is a local habit) - we hesitated to swim to go to dinner :)
Watching the moon get bigger and shine
Watching the sun go down
Watching the "diamond like" sun on the waves
Enjoying morning exercices on the deck
Going grocery shopping with the dinghy - or the "little boat" as Eva called it
Having to anchor with land lines
Berthing with land lines but with boats as close as if we were in a harbour
Preparing meals onboard
Hanging your towels or your wash (by Tanya) cloth on the rail - natural drying, very efficient :)

Yet they also did probably less enjoy :
Having to adapt to a sailing boat rhythm
Having to follow certain rules and demands from Tanya in particular
Not being able to “escape” since we often stayed at anchor
Not being able to sleep as much as probably wanted

and besides loving being with family and friend, Tanya  & Roberto LOVED having Eva - a little sunshine - onboard - she had so much fun & assurance in the sea, a real little fish who very soon will know how to swim - for now she had her “brassards”, and very much enjoyed playing with her pink “fritte” and a floating rope. All of us enjoyed playing with her, I even had a couple of “fou rires” in the water with her - soooooo sweet !!
