After a very nice first night spent together with the whole crew, we departed today at 06:30 to get to St. Peters’ Port in Guernsey at 18:00, hence a quick crossing given that the wind direction was favourable (grand largue) and that we had on average 25 Knots with a number of gusts at 29 knots.

As a result I would qualify this crossing as a solid “mise en jambe” for all of us, given that with the currents and the tides in this area, the sea was pretty mixed up and hence my stomach and Julia’s one too… we were not sick but slept a lot because of the seasickness pills we had to take to survive ! No rain except when we were just entering the harbour of course… ! I cannot wait to go SOUTH :)

Tomorrow a long sailing day ahead again but apparently a bit less “lively” - we have to refuel and then off we go so not such an early start, but a late arrival in Roscoff in Brittany where we will stop waiting for a more favourable météo than the current one to cross the Biscay Bay.

We are just eating chocolate hence the moral is up !
