The winds are coming from the north west which is the opposite to normal,
and we have had not had rain for 3 days. So we had to run the water maker,
and I dived the boat for 2 hours scrubbing and cleaning the prop, which I
think had come a marine refuge, but once it was clear I bagged the prop,
this will help (as long as I remember to take it off).
Our german neighbor left on the morning tide with a dirty bottom on the boat
he is out there all day and night until he can get a pilot up the next
river.
We had a number of people return today, others go on central America
exploring trips. We with "Sunsenation" (another cruising boat from San
Diego) are heading up to La Liberdad on the west coast it is famous surfing
spot with hotels and different coast line. We will be there for 5 days, and
we will try to have violin lessons on the way there and on way back for
Sean.
It will be nice to explore a different place, and see how people live.
Our little community here grows we all seem to be busy, and we now hearing
from our other cruising friends up in Mexico that they starting to plan
their trips for the coming season, funny how we all go through summer busy,
now we switch to our plans and dreams. Many are contacting us to ask about
anchorages in southern Mexico and down here, same as we ask people passing
north through here what things are like down south.
But having done this google earth maps I am doing a lot of exploring and
investigations which is a good way to do this comparing with the cruising
guides and notes we have gathered from people. It is interesting to see how
the boys and Tracy also are talking about the places in the next 6 months,
and the eventual landing in Austrlia, and exploring that coast.
Dreams are what we live for, and turning them into reality is so important.
Keep dreaming!!!
