We spent the morning yesterday exploring and being shown around a coffee plantation and the production of coffee, the tour was private and guide was Dutch has his own small coffee farm, and made the whole thing very interesting. Tracy had been wanting to do a visit and understand how coffee is grown, types of trees, and the production, I enjoyed it and so did Sean.
It was nice to wander the steep mountain sides looking at the coffee berries in the lush green environment while looking back on the town of Boquette.
We found a great place for Crepes at lunch as this little village has become a retirement haven for many USA and North American people, so their is local culture mixed with this European influence.
We found a wine bar the evening before on a lovely stream with a great kids park so we went back there allowing the boys to run around with some locals as well as play in the park while we enjoyed the mountains, the running stream, and the red wine.
It does not seam too high but the weather is cooler than the coast it is 20 c and makes it nice, we have had good weather, and the place we are staying is lovely with a series of separate houses in open gardens great for the boys to run about in.
It was a good trip in land.
