Today was again over cast/ fogged in but ideal to get laundry done, and get
out amongst the community. We have found the park close by great for the
boys to meet local kids communication does not seem to be a problem, and we
then engage at the parent level. It is nice to be with locals, and doing
their things. We went to mall this afternoon mounted, built into the cliffs
over the Pacific you are high above the surf watching the surfers catch the
waves rolling in. The waves just roll in you can see out 20 waves and see up
down the beach 10 miles. Along the top the cliff is a park area whith kids
parks everywhere (boys love it), and then there is this huge mall with
restaurants just hanging there.
As you walk the street in the day and afternoon you hear the soccer games
playing, everyone has one eye on the soccer and all are very proud of the
South American teams in the initial 10 days as they are all undefeated, and
looking very strong, but unlike Chile, Argentina, here you have a mixture of
supports for Brazil, Chile and Argentina, the TV shows adds for all 3, and
games are shown and all watch.
It is good time to be here.
