Preparing to leave Nicaragua, the surf is about 4 to 5 feet, I walked over to the beach to view the entrance and action plan as we leave. We are leaving on the rising tide at about 4 PM, it should be a 20 hour run down to Santa Elena in Costa Rica the very north, a national park.
We just had an early birthday cake for Sean with the Australian Family from Sonrisa the before we leave, the kids are in the pool, and the boys are playing, so we can ware them out before the passage. We are hoping for a clear night and all things working, suspect there will not be much wind, but we should be able to push along.
This has been a lovely place, good surf, good conditions, and facilities it is a good stop coming down the coast it gives you a couple of days rest.
We excited to be entering Costa Rica and be exploring it for a month, especially the nature side of it, before going on to Panama.
Stay tuned
