For the last 2 days it has been raining, some very heavy and then a drizzle
but little wind.
This was due to Tropical Storm Frank which formed in the Gulf of T, and has
built up basically following the same route we came down the southern
Mexican coast, but it's swirling tail has dropped a lot of rain on us and
Guatemala. But nothing compared with what they are getting ACAPULCO at this
time.
We will see more water come down the river, but by midday the clouds had
parted and sun was coming through, and the boys and I hit the pool. One of
the things I like is the freshness after a storm, and by late afternoon the
volcanoes to the southeast glowed in the afternoon sun light and you could
see for miles.
But the temperature is a nice 25 C in low 80s F and no bugs as they sprayed
the whole country to eliminate the threat of Dengue Fever.
We got to use our on board washing machine for loads of washing today, even
using the drying cycle as the moisture in the air does not allow items to
get dry.
So tomorrows big job now that the rain is easing is the issues we have with
our Mosiquito Net (they will return) where the sun has taken a beating Tracy
and I have a plan (not sure it will work but sounds good) now just need to
find the materials.
