Ed and I left at 8 am from La Paz navigating our way out in a small hire
car, and took highway 1 through the mountains south of La Paz, to Cabo, a
very beautiful drive especially at that time in the morning. The road has
improved dramatically since we did it 10 years ago. Ed caught the plane out,
and then I waited initially in the wrong terminal and then found the correct
terminal for Tracy and boys. It took them 2 hours to fly here, and 1 1/2
hours to get through customs so Tracy was exhausted by the time she came
out, with way too many bags.
You forget how fast the boys grow, as both Sean and Alex have grown over the
last 3 weeks, Alex especially coming out through customers looking for Daddy
(what a feeling!!!!).
The car I had hired was too small for the amount baggage and items, but we
got it in, with some parts hanging out. And then proceeded to drive to La
Paz and nice trip back, good time for boys to sleep and Tracy and I to catch
up, going a long a road we took on our honeymoon 10 years earlier. The boys
loved getting to the boat and finding all their toys and now we have lego
everywhere but that is nice as the boat is back to it's normal self. Tracy
brought down new cushion covers for the new cushions and these add good
character to new dinette area which is more of a lounge room.
Tomorrow we start exploring as a family, time to rest.
