First night back on the boat, I woke early, we have a slip a bit further in
than before, but as I sit in the cockpit we have scattered cloud, the deep
blue volcano is clear to my right with it's V cone. The local fishing pangas
are heading out for the days work, and we have blue sky above. Temperature
78 F low 20s, but humidity in the 80s, but there is a breeze flowing gentle
with the out going tide and it is lovely morning.
Boys and Tracy are sleeping well, the familiar bed, and comfortable bed,
that know is nice, after a new bed every 2 to 3 days for the last 3 months.
Last night the boys just played with their toys as if they a new, and Sean
was planning as he went to sleep the things he wants to build today.
The dock hands for the sport fishing boats on the docks are chatting away as
they clean the boats before the sun comes up, they are always joking and
talking between them selves bantering and smiling, what a great attitude.
I will start lining up some boat maintenance today, need a new zip on one of
the cockpit covers, stainless steel work as well as we want the stainless
cleaned well, and the whole outside waxed on the boat, and this is an ideal
place to do it. Just need to find the people.
Also need to find the local fishery and get some fresh tuna for dinner.
It is nice to be back on the boat.
