Interesting how in a week the weather can turn, September is meant to be the
wettest month, it started that way, but has been pretty dry, with showers in
the evening, but the clouds in the day have cleared and the hot sun shines
through. This has taken up the heat on the boat, so much so I put up the
after shade over the boat today, this drops the direct temp in the boat by
10 degrees and also acts like a wind funnel for any breeze.
But the evenings a nice and we hope this is show of what October and the
rest of wet season is like as it is 10 days till we look at pulling out of
here.
I will complete all the projects by tomorrow, and start tiding up, and
securing as we look forward. Chuck on "Cherry Bowl" pulled out this morning
on the high tide crossing the bar with 10 feet spare after being delayed by
a day after blowing a hole in the generator exhaust yesterday early and he
wanted to get that under control before he left and that missed his window.
Today was a national holiday for El Salvador as it was independence day, and
the hotel filled up will be interesting to see if stays that way through to
the weekend.
In the happy pool meetings it is all discussion on where and what people are
going to do this season, many great discussions, and excitement, it is up
lifting as all these people have dreams and want to share them and bring
them to reality. We can learn this in ordinary life as we all get caught in
a routine, what we find out here people step back and treat each season as a
chance to look at what they are doing and what dreams they will realize.
Alex got his own boogie board today given to him by one of the other
cruisers on "Sunday" and he is so happy as he has his own boat to go around
the pool and follow his brother. Alex's swimming has also taken on leaps and
bounds in the last 3 weeks and he building in confidence and capability, we
will work him while we have the pool, he will grow through this season.

How both Sean and Alex have grown in so many ways this year.
