Yesterday we settled into La Paz, staring down the major maintenance items I
have planned:
1/ Dive tanks get them sorted
2/ Get Freezer to water cooled
3/ Do a complete services of both main engine and generator
We went into town with Steve as he had a hire car, and located a number of
stores and worked the dive tanks which become more of an issue to due annual
tests been needed we going back today.
We were able to get a lot of the parts I needed for the jobs
We got back to boat by mid morning and I was able to change oil on both main
engine and generator and fuel system cleaning, I noticed that our fuel has
become dirty and this showed up in the filter so I have put a finer one on
for the next 2 months as I suspect it was the fuel I picked up in Turtle
bay, we will fill up here and then that should do us for 4 months around the
islands. This is something I will have to monitor.

We visited Marina La Paz down town it has not changed much in 10 years and
has a lot of long term cruisers who just get stuck here, but does not have
the facilities for the kids like where we are at Marina Palmeria.

Today we continue on with jobs and will ride the bikes into town and see
about tanks etc.
