The last 30 hours we have been settling into life here, it is very nice facility set in a magnificent estuary, it is allot more untouched than Bahi De Sol, and is clean water, which is nice.
The pool is on the edge of grounds over looking the boats and is nice to sit in and watch the view.
There are allot of birds of different types which nice for Tracy to identify and we explain to boys what they are and doing.
This afternoon I took the dinghy sailing back to entrance, and pulled in and went for a wonderful body surf, clear water at 82 F which is just so comfortable. The beach is clean of logs and washed up things we were seeing in El Salvador due to storm season, maybe the rivers here are cleaner and less frequent. But it is a great beach for the boys which we will explore tomorrow.
I have also worked through my list of jobs, fixing the radar, and then up the mast for the steaming light, and starter battery tightening, only thing that seems to be fully broken is the shore batter charger which is just not coming to life no matter what I do, more try tomorrow but not holding out much hope. We are charging off the generator so it is not a big issue just a pain on the docks.
We have also met a couple of cruisers coming north which we have been able to gather a lot of information, and tune our plans, but it sounds exciting some of our planned locations, challenge will be determining how to check in and check out of countries, with reasonable ease.
There is a family boat from Australia coming up to here this weekend with 2 boys the same age as ours and we have decided to stay around for a couple of days to enjoy the facilities here and meet them let the boys play for 2 to 3 days. The other boats with us will move on ahead but we will catch up and cross paths again.
Will post photos of here tomorrow.
