We spent two nights in San Salvador, and enjoyed it a lot. Tracy got a lot
of work done on her photo albums which is a huge effort but she is trying to
get "shutterfly" albums for this year done before we leave so at the end of
year she only has the last 3 months. The hotel in San Salvador has a great
internet connection, I was able to redo one of my whitepapers, and we all
relaxed.
But the boys had a very busy time.
Sean with group violin.
Then we went Tin Marin a kids interactive museum (like the ones in San
Diego, Santiago etc) and it was great, 2 hours of very interactive time.
These centers are an eye opener for me, but they are great the learning
going on is huge.
A section of this one is volcanoes so they have model which goes to 30 feet
in height and we can walk through, so Sean and I went through talking about
the core and then rocks around the side. We looked a photos of the
surrounding volcanoes we have around us, and then they showed the earth's
crust. We also went through the lifecycle of water which again is a big
thing here, and Sean and I have been reviewing it in the afternoons.
Another section they could go to a bank, use an ATM, go to a super market,
be the check out person.
We spent a great 2 hours and by then they are fired up, we then did a German
deli for lunch, this was a surprise for Tracy.
Then in the afternoon Sean and Alex, did jungle castles, trains, and bungees
over and over again. We had dinner at the Japanese place where the chef
cooks in front of you, the boys love this and food is great.
Sunday was a easy day in the room, gym, and then shopping, again bungees.

But we really enjoying the mixture of the boat and town, and Sean's Violin
is coming along well, a lot due to group sessions.
This interaction and off boat time is important as the next 2 1/2 months
will be not around cities, it will towns if anything until we leave in
December, and nature, and completely different experience as it is all
jungle.
