Today must be the hottest, stillest day we've had in our entire three weeks in the Caribbean.  There was so little wind that we motored the last few miles from Salt Island to our final destination on Tortola.  The airport that Joe, Clair and I will be flying out from tomorrow (14 April) is located on Beef Island, Tortola and, very conveniently, there is an anchorage in Trellis Bay which will allow us to go ashore by dinghy and be only a 5 minute walk from the airport.  This must surely be the nicest way to arrive at an airport!
Spot the airport control tower from Chiscos!  We have had a fantastic trip and have visited some very varied and interesting places.  Tonight we plan to eat at The Last Resort Restaurant, which is on an island in the middle of Trellis Bay, before boarding our planes back to Antigua tomorrow and then heading back to the UK from there.  Mikaela rejoins Chiscos as we leave and will help John move the boat to Road Harbour where he plans to start getting Chiscos ready for the return journey to the UK.  The next crew to join will be Tom & Gemma Simpson and Sue Shipley, all joining for a week 21-28 April.
Farewell Chiscos - I'll see you next in the Azores!
