So, we finally made our goal of sailing to the Azores. There was some consternation during the trip when Regis managed to snap Rob and I washing up!!  - obviously we posed for the camera - we weren't really washing up!! 
However, we finally arrived on Wednesday lunchtime and were met by Carrie's better half - Richard - on the quayside. A very romantic occasion!! We logged over 550 miles, taking just over 4 days.The island is far less dramatic than Madeira and much less developed. With a hire car today we believe we have seen most of what there is to see!!
We leave tomorrow for our next Azorean destination - Horta, about 150 miles and should take us about 24 hours.
