We checked out of St Barts at Gustavia, but made our way for an overnight stop with Beyzano in a quiet bay on Ile Fourchue, un uninhabited island a few miles North West of St Barts.  The tiny bay had a few mooring buoys and we were able to pick up moorings close to the shore.  There was a small sand/shingle beach, perfect for our planned beach BBQ.
Beyzano moored at Ile Fourchue.

John and Joe had perfected the 'patented Simpson sunshade' which provided good cover and access to a cooling breeze for the Chiscos/Beyzano crews to enjoy a cup of tea in the cockpit of Chiscos.

The water was crystal clear and we snorkelled over the rocks along the shore.  There were fish of every size and colour, as well as corals, sea urchins (we thought of Dusty!) and rays.  It was like swimming in a giant tropical fish tank!

We made our way over to the beach at sunset, armed with all the necessary ingredients for a great BBQ.  Joe, Clair and Mikaela had made salads, as well as marinated chicken kebabs, steak and corn on the cob.
Clair and I try to decide which is our best angle for the paparazzi!

Note the tripod lamp holder - a very successful invention during the evening. John had brought his guitar and we sang songs into the night.  Another successful beach barbie!
