Zooo, daar zijn we weer, weer een berichtje uit de
Tropen. Voor alle duidelijkheid, wij zijn op weg naar de Carbic, kasten vol
winterkleding, thermisch ondergoed, en dikke fleecepakken. Het kriebelt heerlijk
als het zo warm is en je zweet....
Zoals gewoonlijk, geen wind! de genoa lijkt een
reuzevlag, het grootzeil staat er wat stilletjes bij.. maar dat mag uiteraard de
pret niet drukken. De zee is prachtig, geen golven, alleen de deining, de
zonsopgangen en zonsondergangen fantastisch en we worden er bijna filosofen van.
Vooral Willem dan..... (deze laat ik even inzinken, kijken of iemand het
gelooft)...
Motortje bijgezet, we motorsailen nu, snelheid over
grond (SOG) van 6,6 knopen dus we schatten in om over 9 uur te "landen" in
Egersund (vanavond tussen 22.00-23.00 ergens).

There we are again, Twinga calling in from the
Tropics. Just to make ourselves clear, we are on our way to the Caribic. Our
cupboards full of thermal underwear, woolen sweaters and a lot of fleece! This
itches beautifully when it is this hot and you sweat....
As usual, no wind. The genoa is like a giant flag,
the mainsail as a quiet observator... but of course this doesn't mean we are not
having fun. The sea is absoluty beautiful; the water is a great colour blue,
watching the sun set and rise is fantastic and we are nearly getting filosofic
by all this....Especially Willem of course (i will let this one sink in for a
bit, see if someone believes this)....
Started the engine, are motorsailing now, speed
over ground (SOG) 6,6 knots so we estimate to "land" in Egersund sometime this
evening late (between 22.00-23.00 hrs).
