12.00 28th February

Well we are about to reach our first waypoint after 1100 miles of sailing
and all managed without the engine. Another yacht has been waiting patiently
to join up with us for the remaining 600 or so miles through the Gulf of
Aden so now we are 4 boats in our happy band.

The bartering has begun at Albert II has run out of Early Grey tea bags and
is offering freshly baked scones in return. They are likely to go to the
highest bidder. It could be tough. But that is ocean sailing for you.

Hardly any ships and even less fish but gobbling up the miles at 6 to 7
knots.

1123 miles covered to date and 3046 since leaving Thailand.
