Noon 27th January

The main event of the day today was expected to be the "walking the plank"
of our resident fisherman. No names, but he could be described as coming
from that drowned piece of land near Belgium.

Fortunately he was spared that fate by the arrival of our first tuna. Not
large but good enough for three hungry crew. He even quickly followed up
with a second but that one got away just as it was coming over the stern.

Apart from that it was a quiet night with a small squall and rain shower in
the middle of the night, little wind this morning but now a very pleasant
and gentle sail in the sunshine with our cruising shute up and another 100
miles covered.
