Safely at anchor with clear blue aquamarine water to the beach and waiting
for customs to arrive.

A huge big thank you to Mark and Amanda on Balvenie for all their help. We
sailed for most of yesterday in company. Good sailing for us under cruising
chute alone and always Balvenie not far away. During the evening the wind
went light and at 3am this morning we rendezvued and renewed the tow,
arriving here soon after first light. Sam provided a bacon sandwich to help
us in.

We have been on Sri Lanka time and are now moving to local time, that is
GMT - 4 hours. Uligam is at the top of the long chain of atolls that make up
the Maldives and is one of a number of small islands that make up this
atoll. A little over a mile long and half a mile wide it is a convenient
stop over on the way to the Red Sea. There are some 10 yachts here at the
moment. More soon when we have had our first trip ashore.
